June 1, 2021 | I'm making my new studio home in a shared space in Bed-Stuy as part of the Vega Collective, a group of Brooklyn-based fine artists.
I couldn't be more excited to have a dedicated space for creating among a community of fellow artists.
Vega Collective was founded by Rachel Chicaguala and Skye Asta Devine Schirmer to keep affordable studio space alive and well. Beyond caring for artists and the culture of New York City, we are a community-minded group with monthly neighborhood trash pickups and other initiatives for positive impact.
We have many plans so stay tuned for studio visits, exhibitions and lots of new art.
